I hope your family was able to find sources of joy, relaxation, and renewal during spring break last week. Our faculty was happy to welcome students back to our virtual classrooms this week as we resumed distance learning.
Our Third Grade students are currently in a block about Modern House Building, leading to the construction of some great forts and design of some great blueprints! They are also continuing with other activities, including baking all by themselves.
Before break, our Fourth Grade students did free renderings related to the reading they did about penguins, seals, sea lions, or walruses. Students did some writing and created their animal in its habitat with materials they had on hand. As you can see, they fulfilled the task in a variety of creative and beautiful ways!
Our Eighth Grade students have held regular class Zoom meetings and spent time this week working on joint skits about the immune system.
