Pre-K Nursery Program

Socialization and language skills become the focus as the children come together in this family-like setting and learn to play and work together.

The daily structure of our Three-Day Nursery program is similar to that of the Five-Day Kindergarten, but is designed in regard to the needs of the younger child or children that would benefit from fewer days at school. The Nursery could be a soft transition into school for a child who is new to school or between our Morning Garden program and Kindergarten. The children come together in this family-like setting and learn to play and work together, emphasizing socialization and language skills. The songs, verses and games the teacher introduces during circle time as well as the stories that are told during the daily story time help to develop within the child an interest and love of language and a deepening of their imagination.
