Little Friends

The Little Friends Program brings the insight and experience of Waldorf education to the young child.

Children are encouraged to participate in the living arts such as laundry folding, washing dishes, and caring for their school environment both inside and out. The creative arts are brought to the children through crayoning, painting, crafting, puppet stories and circle time, creating a rich early childhood experience. Play is at the heart of our Little Friends curriculum. Children spend ample time playing, with lots of time out of doors. The Little Friends program provides care in a nurturing environment away from home while also offering age appropriate Waldorf Early Childhood curriculum. Children are cared for in a mixed-age, family style setting.

Little Friends runs on a contracted schedule of two sessions (Fall/Winter and Spring) for a total of 10 months. The program typically begins the week before Labor Day and runs through June.
