Kwanzaa Celebrations & Hanukkah Cards
Honoring the Traditions of Our WSP Community Members
WSP parents IAsia and Malcolm, with the help of their children, shared their traditions for celebrating Kwanzaa with Grades 1 and 4, as well as Early Childhood students. The presentation was brought to the students to honor the traditions within our WSP community and to lift up a holiday that is a celebration of Black and brown people.
Ms. Goodman, who has shared and led Hanukkah songs on the all-school morning calls during distance learning, received a Hanukkah card from a student.
