Honoring the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Throughout the entire school, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been honored this week and will continue to be honored into next week. Younger students have read books, heard stories, talked about The Beloved Community, and sung songs in his honor. In the upper grades, students are reading and discussing quotes, reading March by John Lewis, reading portions of the “Letter from Birmingham Jail”, and having class discussions about the legacy of Dr. King.
