Scenes from the week: January 15–19

Middle School woodwinds!

Grades 1–3 enjoy the snow during recess.

Students in Grade 5 work together and with Señora Garcés to practice their Spanish.

Third Grade explores balance, speed, counting, and hand-eye coordination through bean bag games with Mr. Andrew.

Rosebud Nursery children look through books during transition time.

Students in Grade 6 clean the chalkboard after math with Ms. Pollack. During the second quarter, sixth grade students worked very hard determining the relationships between decimals, fractions, and percents through problem solving situations. Currently, they are determining when to use area and perimeter in real situations as well as using rules to calculate each. They have been exploring rectangles, triangles, and various other parallelograms.
