Did you know? What is Michaelmas and why do Waldorf schools celebrate it today?

If you are new to WSP you may be wondering what is Michaelmas? And if you have been with the school for some time you may be wondering why Waldorf schools continue to honor this festival that on the surface seems rooted in Eurocentric Christian culture. We invite you to watch this video by Camellia Waldorf School Pedagogical Chair, Laura Embrey to help answers those questions.

We hope this offers some grounding over the next few weeks as you learn about WSP's upcoming Michaelmas celebration coinciding with the kick-off of the WSP Annual Fund on September 30.
