It is with great excitement that we share that WSP has been accredited with Conditional Accreditation from both PAIS (Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools) and AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America)! It is not uncommon for schools going through the accreditation process for the first time to receive conditional accreditation, and we are proud of this accomplishment.

This news is the culmination of a three-year process, which included honing our policies and procedures, writing self studies, and hosting the visiting Accreditation Team in March of this year. This type of accreditation confers the same rights and recognizes the same achievements as a full accreditation — it simply means that our school has been given recommendations for areas where we will focus our efforts in the coming years. We will have a progress visit in in the 2020–21 school year, which will allow the accrediting bodies to see our strides towards the recommendations they have made. Our accreditation will be valid for ten years, through the 2028–29 school year.

Thank you, again, for all the work of our community to bring our school to this new level!
