WSP Reminder of When Not to Come to School

As we navigate the school year, WSP is committed to in-person learning, 5-days per week. In order to be the most successful at remaining in person, some things to keep in mind:

  • All students should be reviewing the Daily Symptoms Checklist with an adult family member before coming to school.

  • If a student is symptomatic with possible COVID-19 symptoms: Student may not come to school.

  • If a student is being tested for COVID-19: Student may not come to school

  • If your household has a confirmed case of COVID-19: Unvaccinated students must quarantine until 14 days since last exposure and be symptom-free before returning to school. Fully vaccinated students should quarantine, get tested 3–5 days after exposure, and may only return to school if test result is negative and they are symptom free.

  • If you suspect a household member has COVID-19 and they are being tested for COVID-19, but your child is asymptomatic: We strongly encourage students to stay home until negative test results are received and family members are symptom-free. We encourage you to follow up with your child's doctor as well.

When in doubt, please err on the side of caution. We are here to support your family and the entire school community. Contact a member of our Leadership Team: Miss Jill (Early Childhood Faculty Chair), Ms. Goodman (Grades Faculty Chair) or Ms. Christopherson-Clark (Head of School) with further questions.
