Scenes from the week: October 16–20

Our fearless Middle School teachers, Ms. King, Ms. Opdahl, and Ms. Thomas, on the upper grades camping trip. This week grades 6–8 are at Raccoon Creek State Park for a two-day bonding tradition. We are thrilled to bring this rite of passage back after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The goals of this trip include establishing bonds across three grades to strengthen the middle school community as these students will work closely together throughout the year on a variety of projects.

Today Guest Teaching Artist Miguel Sague III visited our Early Childhood students for an interactive drumming performance! Miguel is an Afro-Cubano drummer who has been coming to WSP for some time now. We are always delighted to have him here. Thank you Miguel!
