Michaelmas Preparations

1 min read

As we look toward next week and our first festival of the year—Michaelmas and the WSP Annual Fund kick-off—there are ways your family can prepare to participate.

On Friday, Sept 27th we invite caregivers to campus in the morning for a variety of casual events running roughly until 9:15. Caregivers of students in grades 1–8 are also invited back to campus in the afternoon around 1:30 to watch your students participate in the Games of Courage. More details will be coming soon but mark you calendars if you are interested in attending.

Also, we are asking all students to bring apples in on that Friday to be used for our apple cider press. Classes will each visit the press during the school day and have an opportunity to turn their apples into cider! One apple or a bag of apples per student should be plenty for this turn around the press, as well as additional cider-making for the full community to enjoy after the Games of Courage.
