Congratulations WSP Reading Club!

This week, the WSP Elementary and Middle School Reading Club teams headed to Forest Hills Jr./Sr. High School in Altoona with Ms. Julia and Ms. Illar to compete in the IU8 Reading Competition. They braved a long drive, many weeks of preparations, and even a thunderstorm and hail on competition day! Every team placed this year, with both Elementary teams placing in the Second Place bracket. The Page Turners came in 8th overall and the Cliffhangers came in 11th.

Our Middle School team, the Waldorfians, placed in the Third Place bracket, coming in 6th overall. 

We are so proud of our students for their teamwork and dedication! We thank Ms. Julia and Ms. Illar for helping to make this all possible, and all of the parent volunteers who donated time, food, and presence to our teams. We are so thankful for another year of Reading Club!
