First and Second Grade Classrooms Get New Window Sashes
In order to meet the historic preservation requirements of our building, last year former Facilities Manager, Adam Reitano, had Allied Millwork of Pgh custom make 10 new window sashes for the first and second grade classrooms. Over winter break, many of the sashes were able to be replaced. All windows needed to be primed and painted prior to installation. Existing chains, counterweights, and hardware were reused. We want to extend a big thank you to WSP parent, Ian Winter, and Mark Staley, Interim Facilities Manager, for their hard work in getting all of the detailed and time consuming painting done! Mark coordinated and helped with the installation as well. The windows both look and function beautifully!
