Annual Fund 2024–25 Campaign Update

Our theme, ‘Boldly Waldorf’ celebrates who we are and the growth, change, and regeneration we have experienced since our founding in 1993. We no longer wish to be the best kept secret in Pittsburgh!

Founded as a kindergarten, the school now serves children 18 months through 8th grade. We hold deep gratitude for the roots of our past and remain steadfast in our commitment to educating for the future with an understanding of child development that guides all aspects of the pedagogy and curriculum. Our goal is to develop children who are compassionate, self-determined, and prepared to take responsibility for their world.

Waldorf education fosters each child’s capacity to become an independent thinking, compassionate, courageous, and purposeful human being. Every dollar donated to the Annual Fund counts and provides us with the resources we need to foster our students’ inspired learning both now and for years to come.

This year, unless otherwise noted by the donor, 50% of every gift will support Phase 1 of our Sport Court Project. Waldorf education is always growing and changing to meet the needs of the child. From early childhood through middle school, children learn through movement and play. Outdoor movement is a vital part of our curriculum.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We truly appreciate your kindness and shared commitment to Waldorf School of Pittsburgh.
