8th Grade Rose Ceremony, Class of 2022

On Thursday, June 9, the Grade School gathered on the lawn of the Heartwood Annex to celebrate the graduating 8th Graders. This assembly and ceremony includes performances by each class as a gift to the departing 8th Graders, followed by the 8th Grade Rose Ceremony, during which the 1st Graders give roses to their 8th grade buddies. This is the bookend to the 1st Grade Rose Ceremony at the beginning of the school year and a way for the 1st Graders to wish the 8th Graders well on their journey to high school.
