About the Event
The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh is pleased to offer fun, interactive experiences online this summer! These half-day, week-long sessions from July 6–10 and July 13–17 are inspired by Waldorf Education, our WSP camp program, and our community. A sample of the schedule is below:
9:30–10:15 - Story and Snack
10:15–11:00 - Drama Games
11:00–11:30 - Recess
11:30–12:30 - Healthy Lunch Making
Additional Afternoon Activities (Grades)
Optional afternoon activities will be available for graders looking to dive deeper into other dimensions of drama with Mr. Mark Staley. Students may join the call during their preferred areas of interest, or join for all sections.
1:00-1:30 - The Voice of the Artist: Reciting Poetry and Understanding Meter
1:30-2:00 - Speak the Speech: Shakespeare in Performance
2:00-2:30 - Ethos, Pathos & Logos: The Power of Aristotelian Rhetoric in Speech, Drama and Life
Full camp descriptions, guidelines, and our registration link will be available beginning June 10th, 2020. We are committed to our programs being affordable for families. No WSP family will be excluded on the basis of need.
