About the Event
Our Elementary Camp is for children who completed grades 1–5 during the 2023–24 school year.
Elementary Summer Camp will be two weeks of enriching time spent in nature, making art, and enjoying days with friends.
Dates/Themes
- June 17–21: Week 1 will be Art and Nature, with guest educator Sarah Louise joining us. Together we will learn about dye gardens, work on harvesting and preparing our plants to be used as natural dyes, and even dyeing our silks and garments! We will also take walking field trips around the neighborhood, learning about art in the many educational spaces that surround us.
- June 24–28: Week 2 will be handwork, where we will hone our skills in sewing, knitting, and even have special demonstrations from our community partners.
Session Options
- Elementary programming will offer a full day option only from 8am–3pm.
- Parents can choose to enroll for just one week or both.
Meals
Morning snack will be provided and lunch will need to be brought.
Pricing
- $350 for Grades Week 1 full-day 8am–3pm (4 days; no camp on Wednesday, June 19th)
- $400 for Grades Week 2 full-day 8am–3pm (5 days)
Payment
Families can register by paying in full or putting down a deposit per week. Full payment will be due on May 1.
